Lifta is an old palestinian village on the outskirts of Jerusalem. It is one of the few villages ethnically cleansed in 1948 that is still standing. Now-days inhabited, it is used a promenade park, and for Jewish ritual bath of Shabbat in the spring at the center of the village.
